One year of blogging and bookstagram + giveaway!

THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME. It's been one whole freakin year since I started this bad boy. I can't believe it! As most people say, I started my blog since I didn't have any friends in real life who read, so I decided to take to the internet. Plus, I wanted to get more involved in the book community. 2015 was a huge year, not only because I started this wonderful blog, but because I moved California. I basically did both at the same time. Though I miss my friends back home dearly, I've made some wonderful news ones who constantly find my state of "book distress", as they call it, adorable, which is a huge upgrade. I'm so used to getting weird looks that this acceptance is beyond odd.
I'm dumbfounded by how little I knew of the book world. I didn't know what an ARC was, or a virtual book tour, or even that BEA existed. Not only am I grateful for 2015 for all the amazing and kind people I've met, but I'm grateful that I've found my calling. Books have always been my thing, but I've been quiet about it. Few people saw me get really worked up over a book, or knew what I was reading, or even cared. But now I've shouted it out into the world and I've been so overwhelmed with how many people have shouted back. For instance, I'm in a groupchat with a bunch of people I follow on instagram and we're just talking about books and what out favorites are and what new releases were excited for. It's so great to be able to do that. So, so great. So I would just like to say THANK YOU. Thank you for reading this blog and my crazy reviews, thank you for commenting, thank you for caring!
Now onto the giveaway part! I was thinking of doing one on here, but the whole idea of figuring out rafflecopter and trying to use it confuses me, so I'm just going to do it on Instagram. I'm sorry if this is in any way an inconvenience, let me know if there's something I can do!<3
